2014 – An initial Steering Committee formed to apply for funding to develop a Plan to End Youth Homelessness in Winnipeg

A Leaders Gathering on youth homelessness in Winnipeg is held, following summits on CFS and Youth Homelessness held in 2011 and 2014.

Summer 2015 – Funding from the Province of Manitoba and the Winnipeg Foundation are confirmed. Meetings with youth who have experienced homelessness are held to hear their perspectives on a plan. A project manager is hired and the Steering Committee formalized

December 2015 – Winnipeg Plan to End Youth Homelessness Visioning Summit is held with approximately 120 attendees. Focus groups are held with forty youth experiencing homelessness.
